FRANCIS BACON IN WIVENHOE

P1000345

The painter Denis Wirth Miller was Francis Bacon’s best friend. However, their relationship and the fact that they regularly shared Wirth Miller’s studio in the small town of Wivenhoe is virtually forgotten today. I revisited the Wivenhoe chapter in Bacon’s life for the Francis Bacon MB Art Foundation and a short summary of my research project is now online. You can read it here
