Mackenzie Lake and I are very proud to present the exhibition Lee Miller in Buchenwald and Weimar – Art, Documentation and Responsibility. It opens on 9 April at M BOOKS in Weimar. Come and have a drink and a chat with us!The show takes place both at M BOOKS in the city centre of Weimar and in the art collection of Stiftung Gedenkstätten Buchenwald und Mittelbau-Dora. We want to show both Lee Miller’s unusual, artistic approach to war photography and how her photographs show the connection between the camp and the city, and the consequences this has for German (cultural) history and identity.

The show is on from 9. April until 3. August in the art collection of the Buchenwald Memorial and from 9. April until 16. May at M Books Bookstore and Gallery in Weimar.
